SAMPLE MEDIATION OR/AND ARBITRATION CLAUSE of the German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce

“Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the present agreement, including but not limited to any question as to the validity, interpretation or/and execution of this agreement shall be resolved by the parties, before having recourse to the competent court or arbitration, through mediation, in accordance with the Mediation Rules of the Arbitration and Mediation Organization of the German Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce, as it is in force at that point of time. In the event that the dispute is not settled by mediation, the parties shall submit the respective dispute exclusively to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Rules, as it is valid at that point of time.

The above mediation clause has an indicative character. The parties may optionally choose to stipulate a relevant clause with reference to the mediation/arbitration of the German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
